Activities

EVERY THURSDAY MORNING AT 7:00 AM

You will find us gathered at Oakhurst Country Club in Clayton on Peacock Drive for a buffet breakfast, great fellowship, “happy bucks” [celebrating good things that happened during the week] and a guest speaker bringing us timely topics. If you’re an early bird, drive up the hill and join us. We are 44 local members who join with 1.8 million around the world, dedicated to serving our community and our world, following the motto of Rotary – “Service Above Self”

SORTING DONATIONS AT THE FOOD BANK

Every Tuesday at 7:00 am [yawn] you’ll find us at the Food Bank on Contra Costa and Solano sorting and packaging donated canned and dry goods, a vital service that helps those in need fortify their meals. Visitors, helpers and friends are always welcome. We’re finished at 8:30 am

ROTARY HOME TEAM

We identify older adults (age 60 and over) in the community who need assistance and coordinate volunteer members of our Rotary club to visit and make necessary repairs at no cost.
With just a phone call to 888-204-5573, older adults can request a two person team of Rotarians to stop by on a Saturday morning to handle the necessary maintenance issue.

JULY 4TH PANCAKE BREAKFAST

We host this 15-year Clayton tradition that begins at 7:00 am at Endeavor Hall. We do the work and you enjoy the morning. Meet your neighbors and friends and enjoy fresh made pancakes, sausage, OJ and coffee. Then hang around and watch the parade.
