Local Service

Our club’s service projects serve people of all ages and backgrounds.  We have been providing dictionaries to third graders for several years. Pictured below is one of the Highlands Elementary third grades, obviously excited about their new dictionaries

Highlands Elementary

A few of our more recent service projects include:

+ Sorting Food at the local food bank every Tuesday

+ Participating in the Salvation Army’s “Forgotten Angel” program

+ Serving the annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast in Clayton

+ Quarterly clean up of Clayton Road between K-Mart & Ygnacio Valley

+ Gathering turkeys for the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving Distribution

+ Support of “Every Fifteen Minutes” program at Concord and Clayton Valley High Schools

+ We have “adopted” the Donner Cabin Trail in Mt Diablo State Park and keep it walkable

+ We assist with the maintenance and upkeep at the Markham Arboretum in Concord.
